You wanted it, you got it; we asked if you wanted more ZUMBA, and we gave you more ZUMBA! Due to overwhelming demand for ZUMBA Dance, we will be adding a third class to the Group Fitness Schedule. A huge hand goes out to Cara-Lee for helping make Zumba one of the most attended classes we have ever had on the Group Schedule. Cara-Lee is new this year to the Group Fitness Instructor position, but has proven herself and continued to improve her skills every day. The third class will be running every Saturday from 11:00am - 12:00pm starting this Saturday, March 10th.
If you have any questions regarding the ZUMBA Dance, or would like to reserve your spot in an upcoming class, please drop by the club or contact us at (306) 244-6413

It’s vital that you make every minute count when you are at the gym; we're talking about your health! And it seems as though the older we get, the more responsibilities arise and the less time is remaining at the end of the day to focus on your health and wellness. So, naturally you want to waste as little time possible sitting at a plateau or lost and confused about the proper steps to take towards achieving your health and wellness potential.
Training components such as Bootcamp Intervals or Circuit Training offer a more diverse challenge in the workout and higher intensities allowing you to shatter plateaus or psychological barriers that are holding you back. Training in a group can create a more dynamic workout. It allows for a fun environment with a chance to meet new people with the same goals as you, it's also a great opportunity to learn different exercises and training methods under guidance of your instructor or trainer.

Just because it's finally nice outside doesn't mean it's time to let go of all the progess you've made from Fall through Spring. The Group Fitness Studio is still packed with a great class lineup, so when fall rolls around again you don't have to be "that person" wishing you hadn't traded all your workouts for a patio during the summer.
It may take a little extra motivation to make that trip to the gym over the summer when you are trying to take advantade of every minute of sun we get. Keeping your focus will result in the difference between reaching and maintaining your goals in the gym and in your overall fitness, versus starting from the bottom when the weather turns cold and you decide you've taken enough steps in the opposite direction.
Everyone gets busy during the summer months, but don't lose sight of the importance of getting at least 30 minutes of exercise per day.
